I am very happy to know that DC Sports series under the aegis of Deccan Chronicle is going to be organise 2nd Deccan Chronicle Sports-Inter Schools Sports Meet 2010 from 4th to 9th January 2010 at Hyderabad.

Sports and Games play a pivotal role in the makeup of young minds, especially in the school years where the students are much more energetic and mentally developed. The Union Government has recognized this and introduced Panchyat Yuva Khel Kreeda Abhiyan (PYKKA) to develop sports infrastructure in rural areas and motivate the youth for sports activities. I believe that the sports activity will inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and encourage the leadership quality among the young players.
