Hi Saina, hearty congrats on behalf of Deccan Chronicle, Deccan Chargers and your fans on DC Sports, for winning the three Super Series titles in a row. It has been a very proud moment for Indian Sports!

Q. First of all, how does it feel winning the Indian, Singapore and Indonesian Super Series Badminton Titles in a row?

A. Unbelievable! It is such a tough thing to win all the three in such a manner. And before this happened people were criticizing that I was not winning any games, but I just kept giving my best and worked harder. I am very happy for having achieved this and will strive to win more titles.

Q. How is it that you have maintained such a positive frame of mind and your determination has been intact, despite criticism?

A. I have just concentrated on improving my game and I should thank my sponsors Deccan Chronicle and Deccan Chargers who supported me at the right time i.e. when I was at my peak. It gave me a great opportunity as I did not have to worry about money and just work on improving my game. I am lucky to be part of Deccan Chronicle and Deccan Chargers. I also thank my family, coaches and fans.

Q. What is your message to your fans?

A. Fans have been very supportive and encouraging. The crowd in Singapore and Indonesia were amazing. My Indian fans are my biggest morale boosters. Their prayers have helped me achieve this feat. I thank them all and expect the same love and affection.
